Our Extra-Curricular Highlights
Debating and public speaking.
Debating and public speaking offer students valuable opportunities to grow their thinking, communication, and teamwork skills. By preparing and presenting arguments, students learn how to organise their ideas clearly and speak confidently in front of others. These activities also help students listen carefully to different points of view and respond respectfully. In addition to practicing these important skills in class, students have the chance to take part in local and state competitions, where they can challenge themselves and meet other young speakers. Participating in debating and public speaking builds confidence, critical thinking, and leadership abilities that will benefit students in many areas of life.
Creative and performing arts.
Creative and performing arts are an important part of our school. Through drama, music, and art classes, students get to be creative and show their feelings in different ways. In drama, students learn how to work with others and become more confident by acting out stories. Music classes help students enjoy singing, playing instruments, and working as a team. In art, students try different materials and ways to make pictures and crafts, helping them develop their own style. These activities help students use their imagination, express themselves, and feel good about what they can do.
Trips and excursions.
Our students enjoy getting out of the classroom to explore, learn, and try new things through a variety of hands-on experiences such as excursions, outdoor activities, and community visits. These opportunities allow them to discover new environments, develop practical skills, and engage with real-world situations. By participating in these activities, students build confidence, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities. They also gain a deeper understanding of how what they learn in class connects to everyday life and the wider world around them. These experiences inspire curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning that lasts beyond the classroom.
