Catching Public Transport

Public transport is a great way to safely get to and from school.

Catching a bus

Key Bus Routes:

• Route 738: This is a loop service that travels between Mount Druitt, Rooty Hill, Eastern Creek, and Horsley Park.
• Route 9556: This route runs between Smithfield and Horsley Park Public School.
• Other routes: Depending on your starting location, other routes like 813 from Fairfield Station may also be an option.

Driving And Parking

The start and end of the school day are busy times for pedestrians and drivers outside schools.

When driving and parking near our school, please:

• ensure you park safely in school zones
• follow speed signs
• do not make U-turns or 3-point turns outside the school.

Pick Up and Drop Off

Morning:
Students are dropped off at Gate B (on Walworth Rd), where a member of staff will be waiting to greet them as they arrive.

Afternoon:
Families line up in their cars outside Gate B (on Walworth Rd). Students and their teachers will sit under the shelter shed and wait for their names to be called. Staff members will be standing on the path just outside the gate to assist your child to the car. Parents are also welcome to park and wait outside the gate if they prefer to collect their child/ren in person.
